The MAX325EUA+ is an ultra-low-power analog switch special IC for multiplexers and demultiplexers intended for low-power portable applications such as cell phones, PDAs, etc. It has ultra-low power consumption of only 200μA when used in the multiplexer mode and 800μA when used in the demultiplexer mode, allowing the device to maintain its performance without the need for a large power supply. Furthermore, it can easily switch between multiplexers and demultiplexers using only a single pin and provides a high level of performance with its high maximum current rating of 3A and low on-resistance of 20Ω. The MAX325EUA+ offers many features and functions such as, but not limited to:- It supports 8, 14, and 16-bit multiplexers.
- It can be configured as a 4:1, 6:1, 8:1, 8:2, and 16:1 multiplexer.
- The multiplexer can be configured as a 3:1, 4:1 ,6:1 and 8:1 demultiplexer.
- It can be connected to both positive and negative voltage sources.
- It has adjustable on-state/off-state resistance.
- It has a wide supply voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V).
- It has a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
