Working Principle

The MAX333ACUP uses a unique switched output stage to minimize power consumption while providing wide open drain high impedance output, allowing the circuit to switch from OFF to ON, or from ON to OFF, by just changing one line logic. This, in combination with low power control logic, provides improved performance for various applications.

The device operates in two modes: The first is the normal mode, which is enabled when the output is high, and the second is the inverted mode, which is enabled when the output is low. In both modes, the current is driven through the output with maximum efficiency, resulting in minimal power consumption.

The MAX333ACUP has ultra-narrow power-off CR\'s, matching channels, and single-channel current matching, allowing for the most efficient use of available bandwidth. The device includes two P-channel and two N-channel switches so that two independent channels are available with the same tuning. These switches are designed to reject external noise and provide low capacitive drive with low leakage current.

The MAX333ACUP also offers channel-blocking capability, which allows for isolation of channels by blocking of current flow and switching on/off of signals from each channel. This allows for more precise control of individual channels, as well as increased system reliability.

The MAX333ACUP provides excellent high-frequency response, low power consumption, and low on-chip propagation delay, making it ideal for analog switching applications.
