Working Principle

MAX5932ESA+T works by monitoring input voltages and limiting output current using integrated circuitry. The voltage is monitored by the integrated voltage detection circuit and the overcurrent protection is performed by a current sense amplifier and a low on resistance driver transistor. These circuits are connected through a calibration pin which allows the user to adjust the overcurrent protection and undervoltage lockout parameters.
