Aluminum - Polymer Capacitors

An aluminum - polymer capacitor, otherwise known as an Al-Poly, is a type of capacitor that combines features and advantages of both aluminum electrolytic and polymer capacitors. They are made from a combination of aluminum alloy and organic component, similar to the structure of a typical aluminum electrolytic, with the ultimate goal of improving reliability and reducing size and ESR.

SPA101M04B Working Principle
