The device offers a wide operative temperature range from -40 to +85℃, a high-speed sector erase time of 80 µs, and a low-level erase time of 16 µs. The device provides reliable writing, reading, and erasing times for data as well as a secure environment for data storage.The SST39VF802C-70-4C-EKE FlashROM consists of 8 Megabits of data and is organized into four 4 Mbit memory banks. Each 4 Mbit bank is comprised of 8 blocks, for a total of 32 blocks. In addition, the device has 256Kbits of reserved EEPROM, divided into 8Kbyte pages, for a total of 32 pages. Data can be programmed or erased in the device by accessing the FlashROM or the EEPROM.The SST39VF802C-70-4C-EKE memory device offers a hardware Data Protection feature, which is enabled by the Data Protection Enable Pin, which is active upon the High RST signal. The Data Protection feature allows data stored in the FlashROM to be protected against accidental erasure during programming or erasure operations. The Data Protection feature prevents any access to the protected data, regardless of the type of memory operation attempted.The device also includes a software Data Protection feature, which is enabled by the Software Data Protection Enable Pin, which is active upon the Low RST signal. The Software Data Protection feature is similar to the hardware Data Protection feature, but it allows for more secure storage of data. This feature protects data against accidental erasure by enabling the writing of specific data at specific addresses only. This provides increased security for the data stored on the device.The SST39VF802C-70-4C-EKE has a programmable read/Write Timer, which allows the device to be programmed or rewritten at any time. The timer can be configured to return the device to read-only mode after a specific period of time, preventing accidental erasure of data. This feature also provides improved system performance due to decreased wait times for programming or rewriting of data.The SST39VF802C-70-4C-EKE device offers power protection during power failure, providing a stable environment for the safe storing and retrieval of data.
