The TL2845P working principle is based on pulse width modulation(PWM). When the TL2845P detects an input voltage, it turns on the power switch at a fixed frequency and keeps it on in the length of the PWM signal; when the switch is off, the inductor acts like a current source, and the output voltage is provided by the integrated power tube.

The TL2845P supports synchronous, non-synchronous rectification, and can achieve high efficiency up to 98% under the wide input voltage range and the high frequency power switching. At the same time, TL2845P supports multiple operating mode, such as burst mode, light load efficiency optimization, skip cycle, etc., and can even achieve higher efficiency if the load condition is not severe.

In addition, the TL2845P has a galvanic isolation protection, which can ensure the security and reliability of the system, and also supports I2C communication mode so that designers can directly output multiple system specifications such as OVP alarm, UVP alarm, etc., which greatly reduces the system design difficulty.
