The TSL238D-TR is an ambient light, infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) phototransistor sensor. This device integrates three sensing elements optimized for entering wavelengths of light of various frequencies with a single 4-pin package. TSL238D-TR can be used for controlling brightness of a LCD panel and for sensing external environment brightness for various applications like reading systems for power management.
The TSL238D-TR is designed for surface-mount reflow soldering, with a thin 4-pin package to maximize the application space.
