UCC3919PWTR is designed for PMIC (Power Management IC) - Hot Swap Controllers as a robust power supply management solution. It enhances system performance by efficiently controlling a wide range of critical power supply components, including hot swap FETs, hot-plug power supplies, custom power systems, and battery charging circuits. UCC3919PWTR is optimized for ultra-low voltage electrical power applications, such as digital components and some isolated power supply modules.

UCC3919PWTR can effectively reduce power loss and enhance power efficiency. Besides, it also features a DC voltage protector or a MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors) current limiter that can provide galvanic isolation from the load. In addition, UCC3919PWTR can be easily configured with a wide range of externally selectable parameters allowing the user to further customize their application performance.

The working principle of UCC3919PWTR can be divided into two parts, the voltage control and the current control. In the voltage control, the embedded microcontroller continuously monitors the input voltage and adjusts the output voltage accordingly.
