The Viper26LN is a monolithic IC that integrates high frequency PWM controllers and power switches in order to build highly efficient AC/DC converters and offline switchers. It is designed specifically for applications that require low standby power consumption. It is optimized for generating regulated output voltages and has exceptionally low voltage quiescent current.The Viper26LN combines a 600V power switch with embedded protections, a high performance current mode PWM controller, and on-chip power supply. It is capable of operating with extremely low working voltage of 2.5V, enabling it to deliver a high level of efficiency. The embedded protections make it suitable for a wide range of applications including low power applications and computer on module applications.The Viper26LN\'s current mode PWM controller features peak current limit, under voltage lock out (UVLO), over current protection (OCP) and over temperature protection (OTP). This controller is configurable for peak current limit and OCP, making it suitable for various applications and allowing for flexibility in system design.The embedded power switches are the other efficient features of the Viper26LN. The 600V power switches have integrated Soft Start, Overload Protection (OLP) and Over Voltage Protection (OVP). This ensures that the system is operating safety at all times and that the outputs are within their nominal ranges.The Viper26LN has an integrated on-chip power supply and on-chip power MOSFETs. The on-chip power MOSFETs provide 1.5A of peak current, reducing power requirements and input filter components. This helps to reduce the number of external components required to build reliable, efficient and low-cost converters and switchers.The Viper26LN\'s low voltage operation makes it ideal for applications where low standby power and battery operated systems are required.
