POWERINT VIPER17HN is a multi-mode resonant AC to DC converter controller integrated circuit (IC). It is designed and manufactured for applications such as high frequency off-line switchers, DC-DC and AC-DC converters. The VIPER17HN provides higher efficiency, superior thermal performance, low standby power and scalable design solutions for both AC and DC applications.

The VIPER17HN meets the application needs of a wide range of AC and DC input power conversion, and supports topologies such as flyback, half-bridge, full-bridge, LLC and single ended primary inductance converter (SEPIC). The IC integrates all of the necessary features and components to support multi-mode operation of these multiple topologies, such as on-board PLL, active clamp reset drivers, overcurrent protections, and so on.
