The ZTX551 transistor is a silicon epitaxial-base NPN transistor that is an excellent choice for medium-power audio, general purpose, and high-voltage,low-noise applications. It features a high-voltage rating and low noise, and is an ideal substitute for general-purpose applications ranging from low- to medium-power audio, while also providing outstanding performance in high-voltage audio applications. Low noise is especially important in audio applications, and the ZTX551 is designed to keep the background noise to a minimum. The ZTX551 is a medium-power, NPN, Si epitaxial planar transistor, and it is used for low- to medium-power audio and high-voltage,low-noise applications. It has a maximum collector current (IC) of 1.2A and a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCE) of 250V. It has a minimum gain of 250@2mA, and a maximum frequency of 1.6GHz.
