The 2N3725 is a single bipolar junction transistor (BJT), designed for use in industrial control and power switching applications, such as in voltage regulators, motor controllers, drivers and power amplifiers. It is available in through-hole and surface mount packages, and is rated to handle currents from up to 50Amps and temperatures from 0°C to 150°C.

The 2N3725 is a NPN Silicon transistor, meaning that its collector and emitter junctions are formed of n-type material. This means that it will be negatively charged.
