The FM25V01-G is a nonvolatile memory product from ramtron international corporation. It is capable of storing 1 kBTC(1Kb) of battery-backed programmable nonvolatile memory. The FM25V01-G offers the capability to retain stored data and program at wide temperature ranges between -40°C and +85°C over a single voltage platform (1 to 1.8 V).
The main application field of the FM25V01-G is the industrial sectors which require the usage of field level data logging, program updates and remote configuration. Additionally, they are used in entertainment and gaming systems, battery-powered systems, computer peripherals, as well as automation. The device also finds its application in systems used in medical, automotive and telecommunications.
The FM25V01-G supports a wide range of digital logic supply voltage (1 to 1.8 V).This device requires a programmable input logic for writing the EEPROM data and to initiate the command.The device is programmed by supplying the input logic at the WP(Write Protect) and the CS(Chip Select) pins and then an 8-bit address of the memory locations should be loaded for every data write cycle.

It also supports a wide array of security features, such as write protection, multiple read/write lock secure, password protection and permanent write protection.
