The ISL61851HCBZ-T hot swap controller has a maximum input voltage of 22V and a minimum output voltage of 0.5V. It provides three levels of output voltage protection (adjustable by the user) including over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection.

When the input voltage exceeds the maximum acceptable operating limit, the controller prevents the device from operating and shuts down the power supply by using voltage protection mechanisms.
