When the SIN voltage reaches the set TIN voltage, the ISL61862AIRZ will turn off the output, effectively “hot-swapping” the device. When the sensed temperature is exceeded, the ISL61862AIRZ will activate the over-temperature (OT) pin and shut off the output, protecting both the device and the load.

Additionally, the device is also provided with internal start up delay and slew rate control for improved performance in transients.
