The LM239PWRG4’s works uses two inputs: V1 and V2. V1 will be the input reference that will be used for comparison against V2. Depending on the value applied to V1 relative to V2, the LM239PWRG4 will output either a high (1) or low (0) logic level at the OUT terminal. The device is also capable of working in an open collector mode, where an external voltage source drives a pull-up resistor that connects to the output.The hysteresis voltage monitor will monitor for any overvoltages, voltage spikes, or any significant changes in the V1 input. This prevents any sudden changes in the output value based on a small fluctuation in the input.
