MAP5KE11A is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode developed by Microsemi, which is designed to quickly absorb the surge current from a lightning or an electrostatic discharge (ESD). By controlling the electrical energy, MAP5KE11A can protect sensitive electronic components against overvoltage and overcurrent transients.
