The MAP5KE40CA is an ultra-low capacitance, bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed to provide protection against transient surges in demanding applications. With excellent ESD protection and EMI suppression characteristics, this product is ideally suited for high-speed port protection, automotive applications, and other harsh environments.
The MAP5KE40CA is designed to protect against damaging transient surges by clamping triggered voltage lower than the breakdown voltage. This device is provided in an industry-standard SOT-23 package, and is rated for a 5,400 W peak pulse current and an 8.2V breakdown voltage. It features a low capacitance of 1.1 pF, ensuring excellent performance and protection while also making it suitable for high-speed data line protection.
The MAP5KE40CA is an ideal solution for applications that require protection against ESD or EMI. The voltage will lower until the current reaches the peak pulse power level, or until the surge ends, whichever comes first.
