Linear-Comparators are a type of device used in a variety of applications from instrumentation to switching control.A linear-comparator is an electronic comparator with one input quiescent sometime refer to as the null bias or offset. The MIC7221M5-TR is one such device used in a variety of applications such as oscillation and pulse width modulation, Schmitt trigger circuits and Hysteresis control.
The MIC7221M5-TR device is a dual comparator manufactured by Micrel. It is available in three packages and features high precision, low power, low offset, wide supply range and high output current capabilities. It has an input range from 0V to 3.6V and an output voltage range of 0.1V to 6V. The device is also temperature stable and is capable of operating over a wide temperature range.
