NUCLEO-F722ZE Application Field and Working Principle
The NUCLEO-F722ZE evaluation board is a microcontroller development board with its ARM Cortex-M7 MCU and provides evaluation of the leading high-performance Embedded Applications. This single board performance is a cost-effective and time-efficient solution for embedded applications. The processor on the board is the STM32F722ZE chip which is based on ARM Cortex-M7 MCU. Working Principle of NUCLEO-F722ZE
The NUCLEO-F722ZE board is an evaluation board based on the STM32F722ZE chip. The architecture of the board utilizes ARM Cortex-M7 architecture based on the STM32F722ZE processor, which is designed for embedded applications. The STM32F722ZE processor has a maximum clock frequency of 200Mhz and features many different peripherals ranging from timers, I2C, ADC, SPI, CAN, USB, and UART. All these peripherals are connected to the ARM Cortex-M7 processor through an advanced bus architecture, which allows the optimized connection of the peripherals to the processor. For example, the ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) can be connected directly to the analog input pins of the processor and can be used as the slave device.The processor also connect to external memories such as FLASH, EEPROM, RAM, ROM and SRAM.
The board supports 32bit and 64bit instruction sets. The 32bit instruction set is more suitable for data parsing and manipulation functions. The 64bit instruction set can be used for complex math algorithms, image processing, and complex scientific applications. Additionally, the board supports a large number of user-defined peripherals, including analog to digital converters, timer, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, and UART.
