Diodes – Rectifiers – SingleA diode is a two-terminal electronic component with an asymmetric transfer function. It has high electrical conductivity in one direction, and a low resistance in the opposite direction. Diodes can be used for a variety of purposes, from rectifying AC to providing voltage references, wave shaping, and even switching applications.
