The STEVAL-CBL007V1 evaluation board is a step-up DC-DC converter. This converter board uses the STBC03CN Power Factor Controller (PFC) to provide high-performance boost-type Power Factor Correction (PFC) for disconnected AC/DC or high frequency DC/DC power supplies up to a rated power of 35W. This evaluation board is specifically designed to demonstrate the main features of the STBC03CN PFC in a proper dedicated environment and to help customers rapidly validate the PFC performance.

The STEVAL-CBL007V1 has two main sections: the PFC Control section (including the STBC03CN IC) and the Board Control section. The PFC Control section is used to regulate the input power factor and current as required by the application, while the Board Control section is used to manage auxiliary voltages required to drive the PFC.
