Working Principle

The TL594CDR2 works by using a high-voltage input and a current-mode control architecture. It uses an internal high voltage switch to control the voltage of the output. The switching frequency is controlled by an integrated ramp oscillator and is adjustable from 300 kHz to 500 kHz.The device also has an on-chip current sense amplifier with an integrated reference that is used to monitor the output voltage. The current sense level is programmable from 0 to 6 volts.
