VIPER22-LED-EV are suitable for LED lighting applications where efficiency, low cost, high power, and low power consumption are required. In addition, these boards are ideal for applications where reliable operation is a critical factor such as traffic lights, chaser lighting, and illustrated panels. The boards are suitable for use in a variety of application fields, including automotive, industrial, commercial and residential environments.Working principle
VIPER22-LED-EV LED drivers have a working principle that is easy to understand. The board operates as follows; a high frequency AC line voltage is applied to the primary side of an isolation transformer, and the secondary winding is connected to the VIPER family of ICs. The IC senses the supply voltage, adjusts its operation to the most appropriate frequency, and provides the appropriate current to the LEDs. The ICs in the VIPER22-LED-EV are programmable and can be adjusted via their serial bus. It is also possible to adjust the driver output current to create an optimal amount of light output. Additionally, the ICs can be set to provide constant current output or be programmed for use in switching applications such as light dimmers for smart homes. The ICs on the VIPER22-LED-EV are equipped with LEDs to indicate the board’s operational status and also provide extra brightness to a system if required. Furthermore, to ensure long service life, the VIPER22-LED-EV is designed for a maximum junction temperature of 125°C.Conclusion
