The VIPER35HE is a high-efficient, monolithic, mixed-signal, integrated power converter. It is able to operate in either a buck (step down) or boost (step up) configuration with near zero voltage switching. It is optimized for a wide input voltage range of 5V to 36V in buck mode, while allowing operation in up to 72V input in boost mode. The device is featuring 9V to 14V fixed output voltage range, with programmable output current of up to 3A.
The VIPER35HE is a P-channel high-side MOSFET controller with an integrated high-frequency gate driver, which simplifies the external components required. In addition, the device is incorporating thermal protection circuit and low dropout current limit, providing high reliability in extreme conditions.
