The VIPER28LDTR is a high-density, split-rail, synchronous, low-noise switching dc-to-dc voltage converter with high power density and high power conversion efficiency. It is specially designed to provide ultra-low-noise power supply regulation for sensitive applications. It offers an optimal combination of power conversion efficiency and power density with a wide range of output voltage and current ratings, enabling designers to optimize their application performance while maintaining cost effectiveness.

The VIPER28LDTR is suitable for a variety of applications, including system power supply, post converters, telecommunications, servers, and consumer applications. The VIPER28LDTR offers several features, such as adjustable and fixed 3.2V and 0.5V supply outlines, built-in integrated current sense, and internal catch diodes for improved on-the-fly and periodical change over. It also features an adjustable current-limit protection and a low-noise POKER 0 compliant output module.

The VIPER28LDTR is designed to operate over a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions. The device is equipped with a typical quiescent operating current of only 2.3mA and a low shutdown current of 1.0mA, which makes it well suited for applications with high efficiency and power conservation such as in wireless applications.
