ISL6256AHAZ-T is a Polymer Multiprotection Battery Charger from Intersil, in the family of PMIC - Battery Chargers. Utilizing the cutting-edge NanoFlip power conversion technology, the charger provides an extremely wide input voltage range while enabling improved thermal performance and an increased power density.

The ISL6256AHAZ -T is effective for charging single-cell Li-ion, Li-Polymer and M2-Li batteries. It also supports AC adapters and USB sources, making it a comprehensive solution for both AC Adapter and USB charging applications. The IC features protection from excess charge and discharge, short-circuit, thermal protection, over voltage and over current protection, allowing for a reliable and safe charging for batteries.

The ISL6256AHAZ-T offers different and selectable output voltage up to 4.35V. It derives its power from an input voltage of 4.5V to 24V, or from an input adapter and output current up to 1.25A and the USB input voltage of 4.2V to 8.5V.
