IXGH41N60 operates in both linear and switching modes and has a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 600V. Its collector-emitter saturation voltage is 0.14V, which can be reduced to 0.05V, when the voltage applied on its gate is increased from 2V to 12V. This device can handle a peak pulse current of 3x = 8A, which is generated by the transistor when operating in switching mode. It also features a self-suppressing diode with a low forward voltage drop.
