The NM27C256QE200 is a high performance CMOS 256K EPROM designed to meet the needs of microprocessor, microcontroller and data acquisition applications. It is manufactured with the Toshiba NMOS-V process and is organized as 32K x 8-bits. The NM27C256QE200 is available in a 24-pin dual-in-line plastic package (PDIP). This EPROM is fully compatible with NMOS and TTL circuits, allowing for operation up to 25MHz. All inputs and outputs are TTL-compatible and are available in two package configurations.
The NM27C256QE200 has a single address register that can store up to 13-bit data. This 13-bit address is used to access the memory. The NM27C256QE200 has two separate read and write cycles. During the read cycle, the 13-bit address is sent to the EPROM and the corresponding 8-bits data is outputted.
