Working Principle
NM27C256V150 is a 256K EPROM with a single voltage supply of 5V, it features a 210nsec access time and can support up to 10MHz clock rate. This EPROM uses a special type of EEPROM cell technology where cell capacitance is actively kept at the minimum by an internal decoder algorithm in the most efficient way without the need for a watchdog timer. To read the data stored in the NM27C256V150, the logic circuitry inside the device is operated in such a way that the data is encoded into a specific format and then transmitted via the I/O lines.
