RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards are used in different types of target applications such as high-speed wireless sensing, radio and radar systems, and satellite communication etc. The SI4136-EVB is specifically designed to work in these applications. It is a development board with integrated RF converters and RF communication development board for wireless protocols.
SI4136-EVB Evaluation Board provides an evaluation environment for the SI4136 900 MHz wireless transceiver. This evaluation board integrates a full 300-series chipset for the wireless system. SI4136-EVB serves as either a master or a slave for wireless communication speeds up to 250kbps. It has a Programmable EEPROM Memory and EEPROM Memory Capacity. It also has an integrated temperature and humidity sensor, as well as a high-performance voltage amplifier with an external VGA (Video Graphics Array).
Two 1” square boards are included in the SI4136-EVB evaluation system. The first one (the transmitter board) contains the transceiver and related circuitry that generates the signal. The second one (the receiver board) contains the receiver and related circuitry that demodulates and takes the signals. The transmitter board has a number of components related to its operation, such as a digital crystal oscillator, a voltage reference circuit, a diplexer, a synthesizer, and a buffer amplifier. The receiver board also contains a number of components related to its operation, such as a digital signal processor, a programmable gain amplifier, a power supply, and a temperature sensor.

SI4136-EVB can also be used for power savings when using low voltage using the low power mode. It is highly efficient and has a low current consumption.
