The SI4133WM-EVB is a complete development and evaluation platform for an RF transmitter radio. The kit contains both hardware and software components to enable designers to easily understand and evaluate the system. That offers full control and analysis of the design, and allows for rapid prototyping.
The device operates using an open source software framework made up of driver and application programs called Linu-Flight. The SI4133WM-EVB is based on the Si4133 microcontroller, which provides an integrated solution for radio transmitters with features including channel pass filters, amplifiers, data converters, voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs), and more. The stock core module that comes with the development kit provides the Si4133 with up to forty channels allowing for high dynamic range applications. The kit also features high signal-to-noise ratio specifications (SNR) of up to 95 dB.
The main advantage of the SI4133WM-EVB is its ability to rapidly prototype the radio transmiter. A variety of development boards can be connected and used with the Si4133. This makes it possible to quickly develop an efficient and reliable radio trasmitter. Additionally, the Si4133 also supports a wide range of operating systems.
