TPS1100DG4 is an N-Channel Enhancement Mode Field Effect Transistor (FET) designed for high current, high speed and low on-resistance switching applications. It’s a single component semiconductor component, which includes three pins being Drain, Gate, and Source. Source is the negative terminator, connected to ground when required. The Gate is controlled electrically by using a negative voltage applied to the source, and the Drain is the terminator carrying bias current.The TPS1100DG4 plays a major role in many industrial devices and consumer electronics products. It is widely used in power electronics circuits such as AC motor drives, switching power supply, inverter circuits, and even in consumer electronics like digital TV receivers, LCD TVs, DVD players, monitors and anything where low on-resistance switching is needed.In addition to consumer electronics, the TPS1100DG4 plays a role on the power side for industrial applications as well. Industries such as automotive, consumer, telecommunications, and medical all require current, high speed and low on-resistance switching.
