XN0450500L Application Field and Working Principle

The XN0450500L series – also called the Darlington Transistor Array – are used in motor control, solid state relays, low noise amplifiers, switching applications and interface circuits. This series of Darlington Transistor arrays are highly integrated, high performance transistors with built in heat dissipating structures. This makes them suitable for a wide range of applications.The XN0450500L series is a bipolar junction transistor (BJT) array that consists of two independent transistors and a collector connection. This transistor will then become active and start conducting current, allowing base current to flow into the base of the second transistor (T2). This transistor will then also become active and allow the transistor array to start operating. These transistors can be used in a range of applications due to their various features. As current gain is crucial in circuit designs where low voltage signals are amplified, the XN0450500L is ideal for these applications due to its high current gain. The XN0450500L series also features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of at least 80v, which makes it suitable for medium-power applications.Another application where the XN0450500L is used is motor control.
