ZTX618STZ is a single-stage, silicon, NPN planar epitaxial transistor made with AuGe self-alloyed emitter technology. It is specifically designed for audio, linear and switcher amplifier applications. ZTX618STZ features full integrated protection functions under jumper selection. It includes thermal shutdown, safe operating area protection, built-in current limit, under-voltage protection and short circuit protection. The device is available in TO-252, D-Pak, SOP-8, SOT-223 packages.

Working Principle

ZTX618STZ is a bi-polar NPN transistor, which means that it utilizes the properties of both electrons and holes to achieve its functionalities.
