JFETs are one of the several types of transistors used in electronic circuits. They are used in a wide range of applications, and one of the most popular types of JFETs is the 2N4391-E3. This particular type is specialized for RF (Radio Frequency) and microwave applications, as it has excellent frequency characteristics.
This type of JFET consists of two P-type and two N-type layers, with two metal contacts at each end. The layer arrangement is generally a P-type layer between two N-type layers.
