A 2N6036 is a 0.2A NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) designed for switching applications in a variety of consumer electronics products. It is designed to operate at collector current of 0.2A and has a maximum Pd of 0.5W. The 2N6036 operates by a process called electro-thermal feedback. In this process, the heat generated from the movement of electrons due to applied voltage, is used to control the flow of current through the transistor.
