The AON6850 is an array of FET (Field Effect Transistors) optimized for power management applications. The device has a low on-state resistance of 20 milliohm and a low input gate capacitance of only 4 pF. It is used in power supplies, such as switch mode power supplies, DC-DC converters and DC motor controls, as well as in low voltage systems, such as battery chargers, converters and motor drivers.
The AON6850 includes a bipolar array of four source-drain field effect transistors (FETs) connected in a serially connected configuration. In addition, the device has several other features, including protection from over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature and reverse current, as well as adjustable current limit, gate delay time, gate drive and gate switching speeds.
The device is designed to be used as an array of FETs for controlling power in different types of systems. Its most common application is for use in DC-DC switching applications, where it provides power switches for controlling current flow. This is done by connecting the source lead of the array to the ground terminal of the system, and the drain lead to the load.
