Working Principle
At its most basic level, a bipolar transistor is a semiconductor device that consists of three terminals that are used as a switch for current flow between two regions. In the BC858BMTF, one of the regions with a low potential is referred to as the Collector and has the higher potential referred to as the Emitter. The third terminal, referred to as the Base, acts as an adjustable valve between the two regions.
