The ISL9103IRUWEVAL1Z evaluation board provides a setup for system evaluation and testing. The board combines an high-fidelity, full-featured AC/DC switch-mode power supply with its associated control circuitry. With this, customers are able to easily and reliably evaluate a product to ensure peak performance, lengthen its life and raise its product quality.
The ISL9103IRUWEVAL1Z evaluation board functions by tapping energy from an AC mains input supply. The energy is then converted to DC by an AC/DC converter comprising a rectifying, isolation, switching and filtering circuit. This DC supply is further regulated and filtered by another circuit to ensure that the desired output voltage is achieved and maintained. The board is designed to provide a precise output voltage over a wide input voltage range.
The ISL9103IRUWEVAL1Z evaluation board also provides an adjustable over-voltage and under-voltage protection system which is triggered when the output voltage deviates beyond set limits. The system is designed to protect against sudden increase or decrease of the output voltage reducing the risk of system damage due to such events.
