The LM5025EVAL/NOPB is an evaluation board designed to evaluate the performance of the LM5025 and LM5025A Universal High and Low Side MOSFET Drivers. It allows quick evaluation of the device performance and can be used to test the functions and parameters of the device.
The LM5025EVAL is a fully equipped evaluation board with a robust support system. The board consists of an Input voltage regulator, gate driver circuit, driver circuit, and control circuitry. The Input voltage regulator allows for the supply of the device with a DC input voltage from 4.75V to 36V. The Input voltage regulator also provides protection from common mode transients.
The gate driver circuit consists of two MOSFET gates that drive the device output switches. The driver circuit includes a differential amplifier that produces a high frequency switching waveforms which are used to drive the device output switches. The driver circuit provides an adjustable output voltage, current, and duty cycle control. In addition, it provides monitoring and protection circuitry.
The LM5025EVAL/NOPB board is ideal for use in a variety of DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS applications.
