LM5064PMH/NOPB is a hot-swap Power Management IC (PMIC) created by Texas Instruments. This controller, which supports both inrush current control and output voltage monitoring, allows a board or system to be powered while safely controlling the power supplied to the loaded devices. The LM5064PMH/NOPB is typically used in server applications including hot-swap power buses and power supplies with fault protection for protected systems.

This hot-swap controller works by cutting off the power supply when an overvoltage, overcurrent, or overtemperature condition is detected. Its reset voltage is preset at 3V, which is typically acceptable for most applications. It also has on-chip power-good signal with hysteresis, allowing for safe and accurate power sequencing. The LED drivers also allow for visual indication of system status and system fault as well as open-collector fault indication.
