It is a multi-channel, multi-band, low noise amplifier receiver (LNA) and transceiver IC with both fan-out and mini-Ducer ports to support a variety of industrial and consumer applications.The SI1020-B-GM3 provides up to 50dBm of receive sensitivity and up to 48dBm of transmitter power output, with a signal-to-noise ratio of >26dB. It has a wide range of operating frequencies ranging from 149MHz to1.8GHz, and has a comprehensive set of RF and baseband processing features which enables it to be used for a variety of applications such as Industrial IoT, Voice over IP, Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) and other similar requirements for fixed and mobile communication systems.The SI1020-B-GM3 is a highly integrated solution which combines both the transmitter and receiver in a single package. It includes a high performance low noise amplifier for receiver sensitivity enhancement with low current consumption. It also has an integrated delta-sigma microphone for improved A/D conversion quality and a fully differential baseband receiver with integrated analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) and digital-to-analogue converters (DACs). The integrated ADCs and DACs enable the application of differential decoding algorithms for improved performance.The SI1020-B-GM3 provides an integrated Processing CoreTM with multiple internal FDSPs (Frequency Division Sub Processors) for the efficient processing of both TX/RX digital signal processing (DSP) tasks. This allows for software-controlled gain and adaptive filtering, channel selection and programmable FECs (Forward Error Correction) and complex algorithms such as pre-equalization, digital IF filtering etc.The SI1020-B-GM3 is designed for robust industrial applications such as smart metering, building automation, automotive, tracking, SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and many more. With its wide range of features and uses, the SI1020-B-GM3 transceiver IC is an ideal solution for applications including consumer equipment and digital systems such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and digital two-way radiocommunications.
