The SI4134T-BM is a Clock/Timing - Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers with extensive application fields and working principles. The device is a monolithic CMOS Frequency Synthesizer IC which supports various clock output frequencies. It is designed to rapidly provide a wide range of frequencies from low to high from a few kilohertz to fifty megahertz on different generating pin counts, configurations, and packages. The typical applications SI4134T-BM is used for include the phase-locked loops, frequency synthesizers, clock and data recovery, clock and data multiplexing, clock jitter attenuation, synchronization and distribution.
The SI4134T-BM features low phase noise, small packages, low jitter, wide range of frequency outputs, and individual output pins for each output frequency. The device is also operable with a tuning voltage ranging from 0V to 3V. Through the use of this voltage range, the circuit can obtain a wide variety of frequencies. This VCO relies on the control voltage, supplied by the external controllers, to generate exact frequency by accurately setting the magnitude of the control sys. The VCO also has a wide frequency range and excellent frequency control accuracy with very low phase noise. The device also has a high SFDR (Spurious Free Dynamic Range), enabling clean and high frequency outputs, free from spurious and other noises.
The SI4134T-BM features a configurable AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) loop which automatically locks and maintains the exact frequency and phase of the generated signal under fluctuating external conditions. This AFC loop can be used to control the shift and drift of the output frequency and maintain its accuracy in each and every cycle. This ensures a steady-state frequency which is accurate.
The SI4134T-BM also features a DSPLL (Digital Signal Processing lock loops) for frequency acquisition, tracking and compensation. This ensures that the output frequency is always identical to the input frequency, and sustains a steady-state frequency level. This DSPLL also offers additional advantages such as low power consumption, low jitter and noise immunity.
Finally, the SI4134T-BM is equipped with an internal EDAC (Error Detection and Correction) system. This system detects any errors in the internal frequency control architecture, preventing any incorrect or incorrect frequency synthesis. This helps to maintain the highest accuracy and stability possible in output frequency.
