UC2710N belongs to the category of PMIC-Gate Drivers. It comes with an input stage which drives the power transistors and outputs high side reference voltage and base drive voltage. The UC2710N features an improved automotive-grade IC which provides a one-chip solution for multiple lighting control applications in the automotive industry, such as engine on/off, fan control, lighting control, inspection light control, and body control applications.   The UC2710N is designed to operate from a 10V to 44V input, providing an output of up to 3.3V and an adjustable output of up to 6V. The UC2710N offers two reference sources for addition to the user for the base and gate of an N-channel MOSFET. It is designed for wide temperature range (up to 150°C junction temperature) and provides a wide current range (18 to 36V DC input) operation. The UC2710N includes a clamping circuit to protect the gate drive input and output buses against transient spikes caused by ESD, EFT, and over-voltage events. The UC2710N provides two sets of logic-compatible inputs. The Digital Input/Output Interface provides three digital input/output pins with a range of logic thresholds and an open-drain output. The high-side and low-side connections support up to 5-channel power MOSFETs. The UC2710N also features a second set of input/outputs for external solenoid control, allowing for intelligent control of solenoid driver systems.The UC2710N contains a variety of features designed to simplify use, including a wide-voltage input range (10-44V), a single board-mounted package, and a thermal shutdown circuit for reliable protection against thermal overstress conditions. In addition, the IC,s flexible logic inputs allow for a wide range of end-use applications, helping designers to lower system costs and quickly respond to changing customer requirements. In addition, the UC2710N features efficient gate drive with low gate-source voltage, low current consumption, and fast switching times. In addition, the dual N-channel operation at 1.5A/channel and up to 1A/channel in single-channel mode, enables high- efficiency operation in various applications.
