UC2715D is an advanced Peripheral Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) designed by Unitrode Corporation. This device is integrated with Gate Driver (GD) features, making it ideal for driving power stage of high power switching circuits such as resonant converters, switch mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters and more.The GD features integrated in the UC2715D device enable it to provide a low-side gate drive voltage that can exceed the main supply voltage, along with fast switching times for improved system efficiency and increased performance. The device also includes built-in protection against over-voltage and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) conditions.The UC2715D is an integrated PMIC with GD features that enable power stage switching circuits like converters, SMPS, and DC-DC converters to achieve higher operating efficiency. It can detect and protect against over-voltage and under-voltage. The integrated GD features significantly reduce the need for external components, while enabling improved speed, simplicity, and cost savings.The UC2715D consists of two Gates and two Enable channels. The first Gate channel is designed to be used to drive power MOSFET or IGBT\'s in either a single-ended or half-bridge configuration. The second Gate channel is designed to operate in synchronous buck mode, while the two Enable channels are used to provide complementary control. Each of these Gate and Enable channels are electrically isolated, enabling them to be individually configured and adjusted for desired performance.The UC2715D has a wide operating voltage range, from 5V to 50V and can be used to drive power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and other types of power devices. The device also includes interface logic for interfacing with a microcontroller, enabling analog and digital input control.
