Overview
The DS2761AE+ integrated battery monitoring and protection subsystem is based on a proprietary, digitally controlled, high voltage integrated circuit (IC) with a minimum of external components. The single-chip design supports a variety of safety and convenience features, including gas-gauging, over current/voltage, and open/short circuit protection, all of which helps to protect batteries from being damaged or malfunctioning. This chip features embedded validation and over-discharge protection with a built-in thermal feedback loop.
