Thanks to its Industry-leading features and improved performance, the DS2788E+ is ideal for applications such as digital cameras, mobile devices, and handsets.
The DS2788E+ is the next generation of low-power, multi-channel battery management solutions. The DS2788E+ offers a variety of features to enhance performance and battery life, including an autonomic power down mode that reduces quiescent current and adaptive live-deadline system that prevents unnecessary shutdowns. The DS2788E+ uses a patented power supply filter circuit to enable it to accurately detect battery voltage, while eliminating any power spikes. It also includes a load control circuit that can be used to effectively manage its power distribution across the battery, allowing more efficient use of its energy.
The DS2788E+ is designed for use with a wide range of Li-ion and Li-polymer chemistries, including Lithium Cobalt Oxide (LCO), LiNCO, LiMO, and LiFePO.
