The FJNS3206RBU is a pre-biased, single bipolar junction transistors (BJT). This transistor is designed for use in industrial and automotive applications where space and weight are critical factors in the design. The transistor’s performance is controlled by applying current to the base or collector terminals. When current is applied, it causes electrons to flow through the emitter-base and collector-base junctions in the transistor. This flow of current creates a voltage drop across the base, which changes the resistance of the emitter-base junction and, in turn, affects the current that can flow through the collector.This transistor provides an excellent switching capability and is suitable for applications that require high-power, high-current switching, such as DC-DC converters, circuit protection, automatic switching and motor control. It is also suitable for use in power amplifiers, motor speed control and other high-power, high-current switching applications.The FJNS3206RBU has two main operating modes: common-emitter and common-collector. The operating mode can be selected by changing the bias on the base terminal. In common-emitter operation, the base-emitter junction is reverse-biased, allowing current to flow from the collector to the emitter. In common-collector operation, the base-emitter junction is forward-biased, allowing current to flow from the emitter to the collector.The FJNS3206RBU has a breakdown voltage of 30 V, a collector power rating of 6 amps and a maximum continuous current rating of 5 amps. It is designed to operate over a wide temperature range (-55°C to 150°C), making it suitable for applications in harsh environmental conditions.
