PBSS4160DSH is an array of bipolar junction transistors (BJT). It comprises multiple NPN transistors in a small surface-mountable 8-pin package. It is highly reliable, in a wide variety of applications including power transistor arrays, power management, high power switch mode applications, and audio amplifiers.

The device is specifically suitable for use with commutation circuits, such as diode-based half bridges, topologies driving unipolar loads or any other high power switching application. The use of this device allows for a very low cost board design by removing the need for class-D amplifiers or driver chips, as the PBBS4160DSH has integrated protection and control features on-die.
